Before the National Law Debates (Circa 1995): Ireland was a backward nation divided by civil war politics, built on bullshit and farming and relied on a few exiled, 2nd generation, protestant landlords for its intellectual self esteem.

After the National Law Debates: Ireland is now a thriving, cynical and commercial bog of the future where bullshit has been replaced by horseshit, farming with IT and 2nd generation protestant landlords with Trinity students and Paul Howard.
